Our hydrotherapy pool is a calm, welcoming space heated to a soothing 34–35°C — perfect for recovery, gentle movement, and inclusive exercise at any age.
It supports people recovering from injury or surgery, managing pain from arthritis or long-term conditions, or building strength and mobility through low-impact therapy. Local NHS teams and physiotherapists regularly refer patients to our GP Referral Scheme for supported access.
We also welcome special needs groups, run baby and toddler swim sessions, and help thousands of children learn to swim each year.
With physio-led classes, public hydrotherapy, and gentle exercise sessions, our pool changes lives — helping people walk again, smile again, and reconnect with others on similar journeys.

After 26 years of continuous use, Flamingo Pool’s hydrotherapy pool is in urgent need of resurfacing. From injury rehab and chronic pain relief to gentle exercise and mental wellbeing, this warm-water pool is a lifeline for so many in our community.
We’re launching a Crowdfunder campaign to raise £30,000 to carry out essential repair works and keep this vital facility open and accessible to all.
